Team

We make it happen..

Elizabeth A. Deignan

Liza is the president of Ellaway Property Services and a great cheerleader for our clients and the Connection Program. Before starting Ellaway in 1999, Liza was a project manager in the technology industry and moved to Woodstock in 1988 to open a bed and breakfast in the center of Woodstock Village. Liza believes wholeheartedly in supporting the community and has sat on many Boards over the years including the The Thompson Center,  Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ottauquechee Health Foundation.
Liza contributes to Ellaway with her project management skills and ability to assist clients in attaining their dreams.

Quentin Rogers

Quentin is our Director of Client Services and brings an impressive list of talents to this important role. He is a fantastic problem solver and our clients’ homes are in good hands when he is on the job. We count ourselves very lucky to have had Quentin’s involvement with various painting projects for the better part of two decades and we were ecstatic when he joined us full-time in the fall of 2025. Q was born and raised in Plainfield, NH, where he serves as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoys spending his time out of the office traveling the world and exploring the great outdoors with his family and two dogs.

Brenda Byrne

Brenda is our Director of Operations, an important member of Ellaway’s Financial and Technical Teams and a stellar problem solver. She has a degree in computer science and worked as a Web Operations Manager in Colorado. She moved to Woodstock in 2010 with her family and now has three active teenagers. She spends most of her “free time” involved in the kids’ school and extracurricular activities. Other hobbies include running, camping, crafting and pilates.

Dan Bellmore

Dan hails from Maine and spent many years in banking with a stint in retail sales in the middle of his career.  Dan retired from banking in 2006 and helped establish Ellaway’s Attic Selective Consignment shop in Woodstock Village which closed in 2021 after 15 great years! Dan continues to devote time to Ellaway Property Services when we need his expertise . Dan and Liza married in 2003 and they spend their free time traveling and with their family.

David Deignan

David has been part of the Ellaway Group since we opened our doors in 1999.  After years of helping us seasonally with his myriad of handy and clever talents, David is now part of our full-time family and expertly managing our personalized trash and recycling services. Keep an eye out for him in the silver truck!

Greta Calabrese

Greta grew up on a dairy farm in Rutland and brings a respect for small Vermont businesses to her role at Ellaway. In the past, she has worked in hospitality, wine distribution and graphic design. Here in the office she serves as a project manager and lends a creative view to our clients’ tasks, both large and small. Outside of Ellaway, Greta can be found teaching yoga, volunteering on the town of Woodstock’s Marketing Committee and enjoying Vermont life with her husband and two children.

Jeff Pearsons

Jeff grew up locally right here in Barnard.  He enjoyed his years as a marine and then moved on to his love of technology. Many of our clients meet Jeff through audio/visual projects for their at-home entertainment systems but he has served as a well-rounded Ellaway Project Manager for many years. Jeff lives in Brownsville, VT with his wife and enjoys skiing, camping all over the country, and spending time with his grandchildren.

JoAnn Morgan

JoAnn is a wonderful local gal who has spent most of her career in the hospitality industry and you will sense that in her Client Services Coordinator role here at Ellaway. Years ago, JoAnn also worked at Dead River Oil & Propane where she learned all sorts of important things about solving home heating crises (so helpful!). When not here in the office, you’ll see JoAnn walking, winning at horseshoes, fishing and enjoying her family and friends.

Karin Chamberlin

Karin is Ellaway’s House check Coordinator and Windsor her trusted assistant! With an expert eye for detail and extensive knowledge in utility systems, she is the ideal person to put eyes on your home while away. She grew up in the area, and spent many years in retail. Karin enjoys the outdoors and tropical beaches, but especially loves competing at fairs with her team of ponies and husband.

Katie Rader

Katie joined Ellaway in 2021 as a member of our gardening team after working in the Killington region since the mid 90’s. Now a Woodstock resident, she manages our Landscaping, Gardening and Grounds Team as well as plenty of other EPS projects. In her free time, Katie can be found hiking or swimming with her son, on a stand-up paddle board in the summer months and a snowboard in the winter.

Nat Williams

Nat has been a resident of the Woodstock area for many years, working and raising a family. As Repairs and Renovations Manager, he brings various skills and a load of knowledge in a wide range of homeowning subject matters. He also stays busy checking off boxes while managing Ellaway’s important recurring and seasonal services for our clients. On his off hours, Nat can be found playing music around the Upper Valley and abroad, exercising the important work/play ethic.

Stacy Selbo

Stacy is our trusted Finance Director. After moving to Vermont from Atlanta in 2004 with her husband and 3 sons, she fully immersed herself with the boys’ activities and serving the Woodstock community. Now she is thrilled to be back in the business world with Ellaway, calling on her previous work experience in finance, property management and marketing. Stacy is also thrilled to be back in the warmth of the south where she works remotely for us and spends her time off soaking up that vitamin D.

Wittie Lynn

Wittie is the source of all computer assistance at Ellaway though she is really our Marketing Director. Wittie moved to Woodstock in the early 90’s and ran Aubergine (a most unusual kitchen store in Woodstock) with her husband. In 2001 Wittie joined Ellaway part time to do bookkeeping and some computer graphics work. She is still working well into her 70s and continues to guide our team in all things technology related. Wittie loves to travel and works from her remote Ellaway office in Switzerland!

Bo Gibbs

Bo escaped from the nation’s capital and moved to Woodstock in the early 70’s. She spent her retail life at Bloemenwinkel, a flower shop in Lebanon. Bo expertly managed Ellaway client’s landscape projects for many years and now offers her support and eye for design to us part-time. On most days, you can find her swimming in her pristine pond, working in her vibrant garden or hiking with her Labradoodle, Tillie.

Nancy Mills

Nancy brings her many years of bookkeeping, gardening skills and construction knowledge to the Ellaway team. We could not have a better Chief Mentor here in the office and she leads us in many specialized finance and administration projects. In her spare time, Nancy is devoted to her artistic skills and passions of antique hooked rug repair, making lampshades and pillows from vintage linens and expertly organizing any corner of the house.

Jane Metcalf

Jane was an elementary school teacher for 30 years.  Upon retirement, she joined our team as a gardener and now supports us as Ellaway’s Archivist when she isn’t off traveling to far away places. She enjoys volunteer work in the Upper Valley, sewing, playing accordion, travel and -most of all- caring for her two grandbabies.

Trina Schutz Perkins

Trina has been a Property Manager with Ellaway since the summer of 2000, with the exception of a traveling sabbatical from 2011–2015. After all those years of leading various projects, small teams and administrative duties here, she has transitioned to a remote role for special projects (you might be lucky to enjoy her pet sitting for instance!). In her time off, Trina appreciates exploring the great outdoors, camping and visiting family in her home state of Delaware.

Fiona McElwain

Fiona moved to Woodstock from Canada years ago and we are grateful for her fabulous eye for flowers!  During this time she has enjoyed being involved with community organizations such as the Woodstock Garden Club, Pentangle Council on the Arts and the Woodstock Historical Society. Her long association with Ellaway Property Services has allowed her to take her love of gardening and run with it to other people’s properties as well as her own!

Marsha Fraser

Marsha has lived in the area since 1971.  She was an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School in Wyoming and Alaska, and a tour leader for Bike Vermont.  Marsha loves sailing her trimaran on Lake Champlain, Nordic skating, kite-wing skating and skiing, alpine skiing, sailing, bicycling, hiking.  Marsha worked for many years here at Ellaway and previously in the Killington region.

Norm Frates Sr.

Norm served many of our clients as our treasured handyman. He retired from serving as the principal at Woodstock Elementary School after many years and recently hung up his tool belt with Ellaway. We still love seeing him and his beautiful wife at our team outings.

Pam Van Horn

Ellaway is built on the foundation that Pam established in the 1990’s with her company Community Management Services.  After spending many years with us Pam has moved to Florida and we drag her back for visits. Lucky us!
