Celebrating at our 2007 summer party

Elizabeth A. Deignan
Liza is the president of Ellaway Property Services and a great cheerleader for our clients and the Connection Program. Before starting Ellaway in 1999, Liza was a project manager in the technology industry and moved to Woodstock in 1988 to open a bed and breakfast in the center of Woodstock Village.  Liza believes wholeheartedly in supporting the community.  After serving several years as an officer of the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce, she recently retired to join the Thompson Senior Center Board of Trustees.  Liza contributes to Ellaway with her project management skills and ability to assist clients to attain their dreams. email Liza (and check out a few of her wedding pictures to Dan!)

Dan Bellmore
I have no time to write a bio now - I'm too busy with Ellaway's Attic our selective consignment shop in downtown Woodstock.
I'll try in the spring!!!

Trina Perkins
Trina Perkins has been with Ellaway since the summer of 2000 and is the glue that holds us all together.  She is the person you’ll most likely speak with when you call our office.  In her cheery and optimistic manner, she’ll see that we get all of your tasks completed.  And when you get a voice mail message from her – be patient, she’ll give you all the possible details!  Have no fear – if Trina is on the task, it will be done!  Trina loves to hike and be out in the woods in her spare time and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Green Mountain Club. email
Marsha Fraser
Marsha has lived in the area since 1971 and comes to us with a background in outdoor education. She was an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School www.nols.edu  and a tour leader for Bike Vermont www.bikevt.com.   In addition, she was a property manager and contractor, working in these fields for many years in the Killington region and Florida. She especially enjoys managing construction and maintenance projects both large and small. She is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Vermont.  In her free time she enjoys sailing her trimaran on Lake Champlain. email
Nancy Mills
Nancy brings her many years of bookkeeping and gardening skills, as well as construction knowledge, to the Ellaway team. She loves to organize closets and kitchens. In her spare time, Nancy is devoted to her passions of antique hooked rug repair and making lampshades and pillows from vintage linens.  She is the real artist in the group, and painted our 2006 New Years card! email
Kit Mead
Kit moved to Woodstock over ten years ago and has spent many of those years working in and managing retail stores.  She helped us set up our new high end furniture and home accessories consignment shop called Ellaway’s Attic that is located right across the street from our office.  She is also a member of our enthusiastic gardening team and a recent member of the Woodstock Garden Club. email
kate's picture is still in developing!
Kate Miller
Kate Miller joined Ellaway in October 2005 to keep the office organized and she's great at it!  Her background consists of hotel management, administrative operations, teaching, catering and coaching.  Kate is active in the community with the Garden Club, ski and soccer coaching and PTO.  She lives in Woodstock with her two daughters and her husband. email
Pam Van Horn
Pam Van Horn had been with us since the beginning of Ellaway after selling her company, Community Management Services, to Liza in 1999. Pam’s many years of Condominium Association management experience have been invaluable to us and our residential and commercial condominium clients.  After spending many years volunteering with the Red Cross Disaster Action Team and Civil Air Patrol, Pam went to nursing school.  Now she is a RN!   We all miss her!

Ellen Bartlett
Ellen has been with Ellaway since 2001. Before moving to Vermont, she was a real estate broker in Massachusetts. Her love of gardening and horse back riding drew her to this area.  At Ellaway you will find her in the field, not in the office, managing projects, checking homes in winter, designing & maintaining gardens.

Norm Frates
Norman Frates Sr. is our treasured handyman. He is retired from serving as the principal at Woodstock Elementary School for many years. We are sharing Norm’s “golden years” with him keeping him very busy with all our clients’ small repair projects and endless “odd jobs”.

Jill Hastings

Jill moved to Barnard Vermont from Eastern Long Island in 2000, where she owned and operated a take-out gourmet shop and catering business for many years.  Wanting a change of hats and always eager to meet new people, Jill’s love of the outdoors has drawn her to the Ellaway gardening team.  In the winter months, Jill helps with household organizing – she’s awesome!

Wittie Lynn
Wittie is the source of all computer assistance at Ellaway and she manages the needs of most of our business services clients. In her previous life, Wittie managed computer support departments and taught computer usage in NYC.  She moved to Woodstock in the early 90’s and ran Aubergine (a most unusual kitchen store in Woodstock) with her husband. In 2001 Wittie joined Ellaway part time to do bookkeeping and some computer graphics work. In her free time, Wittie is not an artist but we convinced her to paint the Ellaway 2005 New Year’s card. It’s great - want to see it?  email

Fiona McElwain
Fiona moved to Woodstock from Canada twenty years ago.  During this time she has enjoyed being involved with community organizations such as the Pentangle Council on the Arts and the Woodstock Historical Society. Her five year association with Ellaway Property Services has allowed her to take her love of gardening and run with it to other people’s properties as well as her own!

Cindy List
Cindy List has been with Ellaway since June 2006.  Cindy still finds time occasionally to work at Ellaway's Attic, but most of the time she is managing the Kedron Valley Inn with her husband Tom.

Tom List
Tom used to be the solo male in the office and had learned that a few chocolates, a smile and consistent use of the words, “sure, no problem”, would go a long way! Now he is applying his "chocolate, no problem" attitude to the List's new venture - ownership of the Kedron Valley Inn in South Woodstock.  Tom is also the owner of a great hospitality consulting firm called List and Associates
In his free time, Tom used to run, play hockey and squash and enjoy the outdoors with his family.  Now he just works at the Inn.

meet Roxy and Bacco!
